Baseball Recap: Holy Cross Comes Up Short

Holy Cross was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Bordentown Scotties. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scotties this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on April 4th.

Holy Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Bordentown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Coming up, Holy Cross will venture away from home to face off against Maple Shade at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Bordentown, they will square off against Pennsauken at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
