Softball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity lost against Apollo back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Trinity fell just short of Apollo by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by just one run.

Trinity has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.33 runs. The victory got Apollo back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Trinity will take on Muhlenberg County at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Apollo, they will take on Saint James in a tournament on Friday.
