Lafayette put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Marquette Mustangs, posting a 43-15 victory. The Lancers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Marquette, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Lafayette will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Louis University at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. As for Marquette, they are taking a road trip to challenge De Smet Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
