Basketball Recap: Shannon Comes Up Short

Shannon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lewisburg Patriots. If the Red Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 67-57 to the Patriots when the teams met back in November of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Shannon's record now sits at 1-6. As for Lewisburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Shannon and New Albany will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Lewisburg, they and West Union will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played.
