Basketball Recap: Centralia Takes a Loss

Centralia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 60-34 to the Black Hills Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 365th, while the Wolves are ranked 149th).

Centralia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Black Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Centralia Tigers duke it out with the WF West Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Black Hills has already played their next game (against Aberdeen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
