Volleyball Recap: Stillwater Takes Down Putnam City North in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Stillwater had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Putnam City North Panthers.

Taylor Rattay had an outrageously good game as she had 25 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kael Valdois, who had eight digs and two aces.

Stillwater was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They are 9-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Stillwater is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-13 record this season. As for Putnam City North, they moved to 17-12 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Stillwater wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Piedmont on the 14th. Putnam City North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
