Volleyball Recap: Seymour Takes a Loss

Seymour lost against Illini West back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers.

Aaliyah Williams paced Seymour's offense, picking up five kills. Williams got some help from Lexi Window and her nine assists. Ana Rice controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Seymour has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Illini West, they moved to 5-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Seymour didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Liberty on the 3rd. As for Illini West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Camp Point Central on the 3rd.
