Soccer Game Preview: Belen Jesuit vs. Sports Leadership & Management

The Belen Jesuit Wolverines are taking a road trip to square off against Sports Leadership & Management at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Belen Jesuit's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Belen Jesuit is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against MAST Academy on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The outcome might've been different if Marcelo Koch hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sports Leadership & Management). Their defense stepped up to hand St. Brendan a 7-0 shutout on Monday. Sports Leadership & Management might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by four goals or more this season.

With that draw, Belen Jesuit's record moves to 4-1-1. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
