Basketball Recap: Prince George Takes a Loss

Prince George lost against Glen Allen back in February of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Prince George Royals were outmatched by the Glen Allen Jaguars and fell 76-49. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Jaguars are ranked sixth).

Prince George's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Glen Allen, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prince George and Dinwiddie will face off at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Glen Allen, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Manchester at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Manchester has won four straight at home, while Glen Allen won eight straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
