Basketball Game Preview: Sports Leadership & Management vs. Grandview Prep Pride

Sports Leadership & Management will venture away from home to face off against the Grandview Prep Pride at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Sports Leadership & Management has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight defeats, while Grandview Prep will come in with six straight wins.

On Tuesday, Sports Leadership & Management had to suffer through a 62-34 loss at the hands of Westminster Academy.

Meanwhile, Grandview Prep humbled Mater Lakes Academy with a 73-31 victory. The Pride have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Grandview Prep has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Sports Leadership & Management didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Grandview Prep in their previous matchup back in January of 2020, but they still walked away with a 48-42 victory.
