Basketball Recap: Kings Way Christian School Takes a Loss

Kings Way Christian School easily dispatched Varsity Opponent last Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Kings Way Christian School Crusaders fell just short of the Old Suwanee Christian Conquerors by a score of 67-64 on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (62), the Crusaders still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Kings Way Christian School saw an underclassman step up: freshman Noah Blasczyk went 13-for-31 en route to 34 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Blasczyk has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jed Yarnall, who posted eight points along with 12 boards and three steals.

Even though they lost, Kings Way Christian School smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 15 consecutive matches.

Kings Way Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Old Suwanee Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

As of now, neither Kings Way Christian School nor Old Suwanee Christian have any future games scheduled.
