Volleyball Recap: Universal Academy Wins Going Away Against Foundation Christian Academy

Universal Academy came into Monday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers on Monday. The Falcons not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 11th (when they won 3-0).

While Universal Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-24, 25-16.

Universal Academy's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-10. As for Foundation Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Universal Academy will welcome Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Foundation Christian Academy, they will head out to square off against Winthrop College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
