Volleyball Recap: Carbon Takes a Loss

Carbon's tournament run continued when they took on Park City on Friday. The Carbon Dinos took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Park City Miners.

Carbon's offense was headlined by Kyler Orth and Evan Lancaster, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Grant Mathis and his seven assists. Charles Tima controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Carbon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Park City, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Carbon will challenge American Heritage at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Park City, they will square off against Morgan at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. Morgan will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Park City surely won't give up without a fight.
