Volleyball Recap: St. Charles West Takes a Loss

St. Charles West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Holt Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-20, 25-16.

Leading Holt to victory were Hailey Yeager and Ashlyn ` Winans. Yeager had 11 digs and one assist, while Winans had ten digs.

St. Charles West's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Holt, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

St. Charles West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against St. Charles on the 18th. As for Holt, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Winfield on the 18th.
