Baseball Recap: Orange Panthers vs. Kennedy Fighting Irish

After flying high against St. Margaret's last Thursday, Orange came back down to earth. The Panthers fell 8-5 to the Kennedy Fighting Irish on Saturday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Irish apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2015.

Ethan Giraldo put in work while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Giraldo was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.

In other batting news, Gogh Nakagawa and Myles Kennedy did some serious damage despite the final result: Nakagawa scored a run while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances, while Kennedy scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-5.
