Basketball Game Preview: Bel Air Highlanders vs. Deming Wildcats

The Bel Air Highlanders will square off against the Deming Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Bel Air came up short against Americas and fell 48-40. While losing is never fun, the Highlanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while the Trail Blazers are ranked 73rd).

Deming played against Da Vinci and won via forfeit.

Deming is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Bel Air, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-10.

Bel Air strolled past Deming when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 56-39. Will Bel Air repeat their success, or does Deming have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
