Basketball Game Preview: Naperville Central Redhawks vs. Romeoville Spartans

Naperville Central took a 54-point defeat the last time they faced off against Kenwood, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Redhawks slipped by the Broncos 72-71 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Redhawks have posted since December 10, 2024.

Meanwhile, Romeoville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Benet Academy and fell 72-38.

Naperville Central has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 67.5 points this season. As for Romeoville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
