Volleyball Game Preview: Lakewood Tigers vs. Arvada West Wildcats + How To Watch

The Lakewood Tigers will head out to take on the Arvada West Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lakewood is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Lakewood didn't have quite enough to beat Golden and fell 3-2.

Lakewood wouldn't go down easily and took Golden into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 22-25, 20-25, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Arvada West got the win against Bear Creek on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-4, 25-6.

Arvada West's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Lakewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.

Lakewood couldn't quite get it done against Arvada West when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
