Volleyball Recap: Sierra Vista Falls Short Against Ranked Arbor View

Sierra Vista faced Arbor View in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Mountain Lions lost 3-0 to the Aggies. The loss continues a trend for the Mountain Lions in their meetings with the Aggies: they've now lost five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-13.

Kenna Key paced Sierra Vista's offense, picking up three kills. Key got some help from Lyla Sneek and her seven assists.

Sierra Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Arbor View, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Sierra Vista didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Silverado on the 29th. As for Arbor View, they will head out to face off against Desert Oasis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
