Baseball Game Preview: Lower Dauphin Falcons vs. Carlisle Thundering Herd

The Lower Dauphin Falcons will take on the Carlisle Thundering Herd at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Lower Dauphin came up short against Palmyra and fell 8-5.

Meanwhile, Carlisle fell victim to Northern York and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Polar Bears. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Carlisle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bradyn Sober, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lower Dauphin, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Lower Dauphin couldn't quite finish off Carlisle when the teams last played back in May of 2024 and fell 3-1. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
