Merrill has gone a perfect 5-0 against Carson City-Crystal recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. Carson City-Crystal took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Merrill, who comes in off a win.

While Merrill's win against Montabella wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vandals skirted past the Mustangs 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vandals have posted since October 1, 2024.

Meanwhile, Carson City-Crystal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Breckenridge, falling 3-0.

Carson City-Crystal's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Merrill, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-16-1.

Merrill skirted past Carson City-Crystal 1-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vandals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
