Basketball Recap: Gulf Breeze Takes a Loss

Gulf Breeze was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 57-26 loss at the hands of the Pace Patriots. The Dolphins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Gulf Breeze's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Pace, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gulf Breeze will take on Milton in a holiday battle at at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Milton's defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so Gulf Breeze's offense will have their work cut out for them. Pace and Crestview will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
