Basketball Recap: White Bear Lake's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

White Bear Lake had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 73-65 win over the Irondale Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 70-69 back in January.

Despite the loss, Irondale still got an impressive performance from Jake Dedominces, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 23 points in addition to six boards and five steals. Dedominces' big performance that evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Richard Russell was another key player, going 6-for-10 en route to 16 points.

White Bear Lake's victory bumped their record up to 25-10. As for Irondale, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 15 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season.

As of now, neither White Bear Lake nor Irondale have any future games scheduled.
