Sullivan has gone a perfect 10-0 against South Putnam recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Golden Arrows will head out to challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Sullivan's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so South Putnam's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Sullivan took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Shakamak, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Golden Arrows came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lakers on Saturday, sneaking past 4-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

South Putnam came out on top against North Central on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Eagles walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Thunderbirds.

The team relied heavily on Wyatt Mullin, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kason Amies, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Sullivan's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for South Putnam, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Sullivan came out on top in a nail-biter against South Putnam when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Arrows since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
