Football Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Freedom extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They took a blow against the Liberty Lions, falling 63-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

As for Liberty, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jaxon Bell was his usual excellent self, rushing for 150 yards and three scores on only nine carries. He has become a key player for Liberty: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Braydon Connely also helped with two TDs in total.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Freedom will challenge rival Pittsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Liberty is set to face off against their familiar foe Antioch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
