Preview: Life Christian Academy Lions vs. Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks
Two dominant players in Dan Morales and Diamant Blazi are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Life Christian Academy Lions's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks at 6:30 p.m. on December 13th. Life Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 713th, while Jordan Christian Prep is ranked 326th).
Last Monday, Life Christian Academy suffered a rough 80-54 loss at the hands of Gateway.
Despite the loss, Life Christian Academy got a solid performance out of Morales, who scored 14 points. Morales scored a full 25.9% of Life Christian Academy's points, the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jaden Dinzey, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Jordan Christian Prep beat Central Pointe Christian Academy National 53-43 last Monday.
Jordan Christian Prep relied on the efforts of Dan Manoka, who scored 17 points, and William Reyes-Montanez, who scored 17 points. The game was Reyes-Montanez's third in a row with at least ten points. Ilich Yacaman was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Life Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Jordan Christian Prep, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Life Christian Academy was taken down by Jordan Christian Prep 78-12 in their previous matchup back in January of 2017. Can Life Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
