Taos waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Everything went their way against the Moriarty Pintos as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Taos' got stronger as the match went on, holding Moriarty to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-9, 25-4.

When it comes to explaining why Moriarty lost, don't look at Kristina Means. Despite the final result, she had ten digs. Means is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Taos' victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Moriarty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, Taos and Moriarty will both be playing Pojoaque Valley the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Elks/Elkettes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Pintos will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
