Hillman had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Oscoda Owls. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Evan Crane made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Crane was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cuyler Schultz, who went 1-for-3 with five RBI and three runs. Ty Muszynski was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Hillman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oscoda only posted an OBP of .250.

Hillman's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Oscoda, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hillman beat the Owls by a score of 6-2 later that day.
