Soccer Recap: Maine School of Science & Math Comes Up Short

Maine School of Science & Math lost against Easton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Penguins lost 3-0 to the Bears. While losing is never fun, Maine School of Science & Math can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine soccer rankings (they are ranked 100th, while Easton are ranked 31st).

Maine School of Science & Math's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Easton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Maine School of Science & Math will head out to face off against Madawaska at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Easton, they will venture away from home to challenge Schenck at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
