Volleyball Recap: Sunrise Mountain Takes a Loss

Sunrise Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gabrielino Eagles.

Sunrise Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Gabrielino, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-8 record.

Coming up, Sunrise Mountain will venture away from home to challenge Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gabrielino, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Lakewood on the 15th.
