Volleyball Recap: Pleasanton Comes Up Short

Pleasanton lost against Uvalde back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls), falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Pleasanton ultimately came up short, they really made Uvalde work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-14, 25-13.

Pleasanton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Uvalde, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pleasanton will take on rival Carrizo Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Uvalde is set to challenge their familiar foe Devine at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
