Baseball Game Preview: Kent Denver Sun Devils vs. Front Range Christian Falcons

The Kent Denver Sun Devils will challenge the Front Range Christian Falcons at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Kent Denver and five for Front Range Christian.

Kent Denver lost 7-1 to Prospect Ridge Academy on Thursday.

Kent Denver saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Front Range Christian faced off against SkyView Academy on Thursday. The Falcons fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 7-6.

Haedan Morton put in work no matter where he played. He struck out 11 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Kent Denver now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Front Range Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
