Football Recap: Eden/North Collins Raiders vs. Lake Shore Eagles
Eden/North Collins had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 28-21 victory over the Lake Shore Eagles on Friday. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 20-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Brady Waring went supernova, rushing for 179 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also throwing for 196 yards and three TDs. What's more, he racked up 107.7 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Eden/North Collins' leading receiver Silas Nellis was Waring's top target yet again, picking up 100 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 947 yards in their previous games. As for Lake Shore, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge South Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
