Basketball Recap: Sterling Now 10-2 over Last 12 Games

Sterling picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against the Kashmere Fighting Rams by a score of 71-64. Given the Rangers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 419th, while the Fighting Rams are ranked 1095th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sterling is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Kashmere, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Sterling has already played their next game, a 58-51 loss against Goose Creek Memorial on the 27th. As for Kashmere, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-52 victory against Westbury on the 27th.
