Soccer Game Preview: Box Elder vs. Roy

The Box Elder Bees will head out on the road to face off against the Roy Royals at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Box Elder came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Bonneville, falling 3-0. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Box Elder it sure didn't stay that way.

Meanwhile, Roy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Northridge. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Roy struggled afterwards.

Box Elder's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Roy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Box Elder came out on top in a nail-biter against Roy when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bees since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
