Grafton faced East Fairmont in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bearcats who were credited with the victory. The Grafton Bearcats got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the East Fairmont Bees' three. Winning may never get old, but Grafton sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Their one-goal win came courtesy of Braydon Taylor, which was the first he's scored this season.
Grafton's win bumped their record up to 15-4-3. As for East Fairmont, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 9-1-3 and their overall record down to 14-3-4.
