Football Recap: Highwood Skates Past St. Patrick's Academy with Ease

Highwood won the last time they faced St. Patrick's Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mountaineers breezed past the Wolfhounds to the tune of 56-8. The Mountaineers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Highwood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for St. Patrick's Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Highwood will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hays-Lodge Pole at 7:30 p.m. on October 25, 2026. The Mountaineers will be up against the Thunder Birds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for St. Patrick's Academy, they will welcome North Star at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
