Soccer Game Preview: Ripley vs. Senatobia

Ripley is 0-5 against Senatobia since December of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Ripley has given up an average of 5.1 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Ripley faced off against South Pontotoc on Monday. The Tigers lost 10-0 to the Cougars.

Meanwhile, Senatobia came up short against Byhalia on Tuesday, falling 5-2.

Senatobia's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Ripley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Ripley might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from Senatobia in their previous meeting back in January of 2019. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
