Softball Recap: Wayne Christian Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Wayne Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Rosewood on Tuesday, falling 12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Wayne Christian has suffered since April 11, 2024.

Wayne Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aj Verme, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

The win made it two in a row for Rosewood and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.
