Ralston extends road losing streak to 23

Recap: Ralston Rams vs. Concordia Mustangs

This season hasn't been kind to the Ralston Rams, who are still winless after their 16th game. They had to suffer through a rough 59-22 loss at the hands of Concordia. Ralston has not had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Ralston's loss on Saturday came despite strong showings from Chloe Owen and Genesis Barrios. Owen scored four points along with seven rebounds and three blocks, while Barrios scored no points.

Concordia's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eliza Schmidt led the charge by scoring six points along with six rebounds and two steals. Elly Domsch was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with four steals.

Ralston's defeat was their 23rd straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Concordia, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ralston will take on the Monarchs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Concordia, they will be playing at home against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Archbishop Bergan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Mustangs in Nebraska (the Knights are ranked 63rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 204th).
