Basketball Recap: Altamont Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Altamont can now relate to. They lost 61-35 to the Rich Rebels on Wednesday. The Longhorns have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Rich's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carter Scott led the charge by putting up ten points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ridge Lundgren, who posted ten points and four steals.

Altamont's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Rich, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Altamont has already played their next matchup, a 49-47 victory against Monticello on the 27th. As for Rich, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 47-35 win against Piute on the 27th.
