Wahoo is a perfect 10-0 against Plattsmouth since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will head out to face off against the Blue Devils. Wahoo will be strutting in after a victory while Plattsmouth will be coming in after a defeat.

Wahoo took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Nebraska City.

One reason for the win was Wahoo's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10, 25-9.

Wahoo's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Elena Estudillo, who had 14 digs and three aces, and Faith Davis, who had eight digs and five aces. That's the most aces Estudillo has posted over her last six matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Wahoo was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are a perfect 6-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Plattsmouth lost 3-0 to Platteview on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost seven in a row.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17, 25-12.

Plattsmouth's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Wahoo, their win bumped their record up to 9-14.

Everything went Wahoo's way against Plattsmouth in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Wahoo made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
