Recap: Delta Rabbits vs. Emery Spartans

The Delta Rabbits's four-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They came out on top against Emery by a score of 62-55. The win was just what Delta needed coming off of a 77-51 loss in their prior contest.

Delta's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bronco Bundy, who scored 20 points. Bundy continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Marcus Chase, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.

Emery lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Wade Stilson, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Stilson hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Luke Justice was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with four steals.

Delta's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Emery, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delta won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Carbon at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. Carbon is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Emery, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Richfield is ranked 44th, while Emery is ranked 46th).
