Wright City had won five straight games and Braileigh Threadgill did her part to make it six on Thursday. The Wright City Lumberjax blew past the Valliant Bulldogs 66-42 thanks in part to Threadgill, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (two).

Mia Reich was another key player, going 6 for 9 on her way to 16 points and six boards. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Wright City now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Valliant, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

The future could be bright for both Wright City and Valliant: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Wright City will try to hand Antlers their third-straight loss when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Valliant will look to extend Tishomingo's four-game losing streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
