Appoquinimink put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the William Penn Colonials a 19-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Appoquinimink pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for William Penn, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Looking ahead, Appoquinimink will take on Caravel Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
