Football Game Preview: Carroll County Panthers vs. Henry County Wildcats

For the first time this season, Carroll County will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to take on the Henry County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Carroll County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 26-21 to Nicholas County. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Henry County fell victim to Bourbon County and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Colonels, falling 28-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Carroll County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Henry County, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Carroll County was dealt a bruising 35-7 loss at the hands of Henry County in their previous matchup back in August of 2022. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
