Kelly Catholic won the last time they faced Port Arthur Memorial and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Titans by a score of 2-0.

Abigail Brown paced Kelly Catholic's offense, picking up five kills. Brown got some help from Charley Jones and her eight assists. Finally, Brown was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Kelly Catholic's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Port Arthur Memorial, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Kelly Catholic has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Silsbee on the 16th. As for Port Arthur Memorial, they will challenge West Orange-Stark at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
