Softball Recap: West Seattle vs. Eastside Catholic Crusaders

West Seattle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-6 to the Eastside Catholic Crusaders. West Seattle was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Eastside Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

West Seattle got a big performance out of Molly Lefkowitz, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Stella Eley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one stolen base.

West Seattle's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Eastside Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Seattle will take on Roosevelt at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Seattle will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Eastside Catholic, they will square off against Nathan Hale at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eastside Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
