Softball Recap: Tuscola Takes a Loss

Tuscola's last matchup with Franklin could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Mountaineers came up short against the Panthers, falling 11-1. The Mountaineers haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Tuscola now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Tuscola will challenge North Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mountaineers are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Franklin, they are taking a road trip to challenge Murphy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
