Basketball Recap: Powell Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Powell can now relate to. They took a 70-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lovell Bulldogs on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Powell's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Lovell, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-3.

As of now, neither Powell nor Lovell have any future games scheduled.
